Thanks to the “leak” of information on Twitter, we’ve already learned some details about HTC’s U12 smartphone that will formalize the return of the company to the system from two rear cameras abandoned in 2015.
HTC U12 is developing under the code name Imagine, with a 5.99-inch QHD + screen, Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor, 6 GB of RAM, 256 GB internal memory, and a battery of 3.420 mAh. On the back will be two cameras, one of 12, and the other one of 16 megapixels. Both are Sony products. The front is an 8-megapixel camera, and the smartphone is water resistant and meets the IP68 standard.
The device will use the Android 80 Oreo and Sense 10 software, as well as Edge Sense 2.0 and Face Unlock technology to unlock smartphones by face recognition.
The arrival of the smartphone HTC U12 on the market is expected in April, with Single and Dual SIM versions available.
